Nick Calori - Filmmaker - Editor - Director

A graduate from the London Film School, Nick is an award winning short film director whose films have been selected for over twenty major international festivals. These include the New York University Next Reel, The Academy Award Approved Festival de Cine de Huesca, and the Capalbio International Short film festival.

In 2007 Nick went on to win the prestigious Italian film festival Salento Finibus Terrae with his short film 'The Dancer'.

As a documentary maker, Nick has directed documentaries for Current TV, which he produced, shot and edited. Recently he has completed a 24 minute documentary ‘The sunlight on my skin’, produced by Shuffle Films, about a young woman’s formidable journey in overcoming her fear of sunlight.

As a sought after offline and online editor his popularity is due to a combination of talents, highly creative and narrative development skills and also the ability to work collaboratively with both directors and producers.

With a decade of experience working on both Final Cut and Avid systems he has edited documentaries, commercials, music videos and high-end corporate films. His broadcast credits include ITV, Channel 4 and Sky One.

Nick also works regularly as a promo producer, delivering primetime promos for feature films, documentaries and comedy series.

Nick owns a fully equipped Final Cut Pro and Avid edit suite and a broadcast standard HDV camera (SONY HVR-V1) and sound kit.
